What are my domestic shipping options?
We will ship books according to your directions, but we recommend the following cost-effective options:
From 1 to 199 pounds U.P.S. Ground Service
From 200 to 499 pounds U.P.S. Truck (hundredweight service)
500 pounds or more Common carriers (truck)


What are my international shipping options?
You may specify Sea Freight, Air Freight or Air Courier shipping at the time of your order and you should designate the freight forwarder or consolidator that you intend to use. Do to the high incidence of loss and damage associated with Foreign Surface Mail, Dover does not ship by this method. Please remember that orders are shipped EX WORKS and inland freight will be added to your invoice.

Will you ship collect?
Yes, for domestic orders. You may select either UPS, FedEx collect or truck shipment. In all cases, kindly include the name of the carrier and your account number with your order

Do you offer expedited shipping services?
We maintain relationships with all the major carriers, and would be happy to accommodate any shipping method you designate. The most commonly requested expedited services are UPS Red (overnight), UPS Blue (second day air), UPS Orange (3 day priority ground), Federal Express Priority Overnight (by 10:30 AM), Federal Express Standard Overnight (by 3:00 PM) and Federal Express Second Day. Whenever an expedited routing service is specified, the order is processed on a RUSH basis.

Who pays the freight on shipments?
Our terms are EX WORKS Mineola, NY, which means the customer pays shipping costs. The freight cost on all backorders is borne by Dover, as long as the backorder resulted from an out of stock or not yet published situation, and not a credit situation.

How do I get FREE freight?
Occasionally, Dover offers free freight promotions, particularly around the Christmas and Easter holidays. We advise all customers to join our SalesPartner program so that they are sure to hear about these promotions.

Can I trace my shipment online?
Not yet, but if you have a question about your order please visit our Customer Care and Communications Center, and our agents will be happy to assist you.

Will you drop ship an order to my customer for me?
No, Dover does not drop ship orders directly to your customer. We will only ship to you.
