FAQ ORDERS

Can I pay for my order by credit card?
Yes, you can. At present, Dover accepts both MasterCard and Visa.
 
Does credit card payment of my order qualify for the cash discount?
No, it does not. Because of processing fees associated with credit card payments, we are unable to offer the prompt payment discount to customers who pay for their order in this fashion.
 
Does paying for my order by credit card eliminate the need for completing a credit application?
Paying by credit card will speed up the processing of your initial order, but will not eliminate the need for completing the initial paperwork. Your first order will be prepared while we process your application. (We ask all new customers to complete this application.) Although we do request some credit information on this form, its main purpose is to verify that a prospective customer is entitled to receive a trade discount. This protects our resellers from having to compete with those who don't meet the criteria for receiving a trade discount.
 
Can I pay by wire transfer?
Yes, but in order to ensure that your payment is properly credited to your account, there are five items that must appear with your wire transfer:
1. Your Account Number
2. Billing Name
3. Country of Origin
4. Invoice Number
5. A notation to direct payment to Dover Publications, 1325 Franklin Ave, Ste 250, Garden City, NY 11530

Will you drop ship an order to my customer for me?
No, Dover does not drop ship orders directly to your customer. We will only ship to you.
 
How do I open an account with you?
If you will be reselling our books, you are eligible to apply for a trade account with Dover. Please email our Sales Department at doversales@doverpublications.com or call us at 833-591-2797 for an application and complete instructions.
 
What is your opening order requirement?
A retail store located within the United States has a minimum opening order requirement of $300. Foreign retail stores, outside of the United States, have a minimum opening order requirement of $500 MSRP.
 
What is your minimum reorder?
There is no minimum reorder. If you wish, you may reorder one book, except for small format books in the Little Activity and Stationery Series must be ordered in minimums of 6 per title. There are no order minimums for any other Dover books in our collection.
